Richard John Peterson

Richard John Peterson, of Glen Cove, New York, beloved husband of the late Charlotte Peterson, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2026, at the age of 91.

Family was at the center of Richard’s life. He cherished time spent with loved ones and found his greatest joy in the simple moments—shared meals, meaningful conversations, and watching his family grow. His presence was steady and reassuring, and he will be remembered for the values he instilled and the example he set.

Richard is survived by his four children, fourteen grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.

A life well lived, Richard will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
