Michael Louis Acerra

Michael Louis Acerra passed away peacefully on October 3rd, 2026 at the age of 75. Born in Levittown, NY, Mike was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to everyone who got the chance to meet him.

Son of Salvatore & Stella, Mike grew up in Hicksville, and was a standout basketball player at St Dominics High School. After playing collegiately at Southern Connecticut State University, he began a career in golf that would last over 40 years, including being the head golf pro at Plandome Country Club.

Above all else, the connection he had to his family was the thing he cherished most. His selflessness, kindness, and humor, will remain a lasting source of comfort to his loved ones.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Lorena; his daughter, Nicole and her husband Michael, son Mike and partner Demi; his adored granddaughter, Ella; his brother James, and sister, Mary.
