Louis P. Fenech, Sr.
FENECH, Louis, 88 of Glen Cove, NY died at home, on Sunday April 29th. He
leaves behind his devoted wife of 62 years, Matilda (Tillie) nee Zammit, his beloved
children Louis Jr. (Lucy), Susan (Roc Challender) and Audrey (Walter Mazzeo),
loving grandchildren Louis III (Liza), Angela, Christina Mazzeo-Caccavale (Anthony
Caccavale), and Andrew (Mazzeo) and their families.
Louis was the founder of Royal Holiday Travel, a family company started in 1976.
An avid world traveler, he visited many countries on 5 continents but favored Malta,
France and Italy. He began his career in travel as a steamship agent and became a highly
respected travel industry innovator with many "firsts". He was the Managing Director
for the AAA Worldwide Travel Division, Vice President for Arthur Frommer Intl. and
Grand Circle Tours before starting Royal Holiday Travel..
