Linda Ziccardi of Glen Cove, NY, passed away on on October 5, 2023.
Beloved wife of the late Matthew. Loving mother of Matthew and Christine Schwartz (Ian). Cherished grandmother of Owen, Drew, and Reid. Adored sister to Fran Lockhart (Mark) and sister-in-law to Phyllis Coniglione (Phil) and Anthony Ziccardi (Irene). Dedicated Aunt and Great Aunt to many.
Linda was a retired teacher spending many of her years teaching kindergarten in the Glen Cove school district. She was an active member of the Rosary Society of the Church of Saint Rocco.
Love of family and friends, strength of character, and positivity were hallmarks of her life.
Visitation Monday, October 9, 7-9 PM, and Tuesday, October 10, 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at Whitting Funeral Home, 300 Glen Cove Ave., Glen Head, NY 11545.
Mass Wednesday October 11, 10AM at St. Rocco’s Church, Glen Cove NY.
Burial to follow at Locust Valley Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
