Juan Pablo Flores, 63, of Glen Cove, NY, passed away peacefully on 4/26/2025 surrounded by his loved ones.
Born on 08/23/1961 in Lislique, El Salvador, Juan dedicated his life to his family, his work, and his passions.
For 35 years, Juan proudly owned and operated Pablo The Painter, a painting and contracting company,earning a reputation for honesty, hard work, and craftsmanship. His dedication to his work was matched only by his kindness to others.
An adventurer at heart, Juan loved traveling, and one of his most cherished memories was vacationing in El Salvador, where he visit family and immersed himself within the community of Anamoros.
A man with a giving spirit, Juan had a special tradition: dressing up as Santa Claus to deliver gifts to children in need, spreading joy and hope to countless families. His generosity left a lasting mark on his community.
In his free time, Juan could often be found aboard his beloved boat, fishing and enjoying the peace of the open water — a hobby that brought him immense happiness.
Juan will be remembered for his big heart, his tireless work ethic, and his love for life’s simple pleasures.
His legacy of compassion, dedication, and joy will live on in all who had the privilege to know him.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Mirna Cruz and his sons, Juan Josue, Bryan. His son German andhis mother Elsa Benitez. His step-son Brian, his daughter Lauren, his son John Paul, along with theirmother Lorena Serrano. His sisters Altagracia, María, Erlinda, and Dilma, his brothers Julio and Remberto, and his mother Mirtala Maradiaga. Along with many more relatives.
A celebration of Juan Pablo Flores’ life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd at Whiting Funeral Home, 300Glen Cove Ave. Glen Head, NY 11545 from 5pm to 9pm.

Juan Pablo Flores, de 63 años, residente de Glen Cove, NY, falleció pacíficamente el 4/26/2025 rodeado de sus seres queridos.
Nacido el 8/23/1961 en Lislique, El Salvador, Juan dedicó su vida a su familia, su trabajo y sus pasiones.
Durante 35 años, Juan fue el orgulloso propietario y director de Pablo the Painter, una empresa de pintura y construcción, ganándose una reputación de honestidad, trabajo duro y profesionalismo. Su dedicación al trabajo solo era comparable a su amabilidad con los demás.
Aventurero de corazón, Juan amaba viajar, y uno de sus recuerdos más preciados fue unas vacaciones en El Salvador, donde visitó a su familia y se sumergió en la comunidad de Anamoros.
Hombre de espíritu generoso, Juan tenía una tradición especial: disfrazarse de Papá Noel para entregarregalos a niños necesitados, llevando alegría y esperanza a innumerables familias. Su generosidad dejó una huella imborrable en su comunidad.
En su tiempo libre, Juan solía estar a bordo de su querido barco, pescando y disfrutando de la paz del mar, una afición que le proporcionaba una inmensa felicidad.
Juan será recordado por su gran corazón, su incansable ética de trabajo y su amor por los placeres sencillos de la vida. Su legado de compasión, dedicación y alegría perdurará en todos quienes tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo.
Le sobreviven su esposa de 35 años de casada, Mirna Cruz, y sus hijos Juan Josué y Bryan. Su hijo Germany y su madre Elsa Benitez, Su hijastro Brian, su hija Lauren, su hijo John Paul y su madre Lorena Serrano. Sus hermanas Altagracia, María, Erlinda, y Dilma, sus hermanos Julio y Remberto y su madre Mirtala Maradiaga, así como muchos otros familiares.
El sábado 3 de mayo se celebrará un homenaje a Juan Pablo Flores en la Funeraria Whiting, ubicada en 300 Glen Cove Ave., Glen Head, NY 11545, de 17:00 a 21:00 h.
