Herbert James Schmidt, Jr., 86, of Glen Head, NY on Aug. 16, 2015 from complications due to Parkinson's Disease. Beloved husband of Barbara. Loving father of Karen, Linda and Keith Schmidt. Cherished grandfather of William, Andrew, Karl and James. A memorial service will be held Sunday, Aug. 23 at 11 am at the Manhasset Bay Yacht Club, 455 Main St., Port Washington, NY 11050.
