Faye Theresa Caradonna, born on March 28, 1925, in New York, NY, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025, at the age of 100. A beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Faye spent her vibrant life surrounded by family and friends.
Faye enjoyed entertaining her family and was especially famous for her amazing summer barbecues. She found joy in reading and cooking, often sharing her culinary talents with loved ones. For over 40 years, she dedicated herself to her career as an Administrative Assistant at Conza and Conza Attorneys at Law in Ozone Park, NY.
Faye was a devoted wife, having been married to her beloved husband for over 59 years. Despite facing challenges when her husband fell ill, she cared for him lovingly for many years until his death in 2007. Together, they traveled extensively, with fond memories of trips to Italy and Hawaii.
Faye's love extended to her grandchildren, with whom she cherished the moments spent baking, especially during the holiday season when baking Christmas cookies became her special gift to many. Faye is survived by her daughters, Chris (Ed) Moretti and Celeste Caradonna (Gina Votinelli); her grandchildren, Jennifer (Matthew) Smith and Kristy Moretti; and her great-grandchildren, Owen and Emmy. She held a deep bond with her husband Jim, her sister, Gidge Morabito, and her brothers, Tony and Chuck Maniscalco, who predeceased her.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Whitting Funeral Home on Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
