Dorothy C. Saluzzi, born July 8, 1934 in Brooklyn, New York, to Raffaele and Elena Marino, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025.
Dorothy was a woman of deep creativity, warmth, and tradition. She was an extraordinary cook, especially known for her Italian dishes that brought her family together around the table. Music filled her life as well—she loved to sing Italian opera, her voice a constant source of joy and comfort to those who knew her.
A gifted gardener, Dorothy found beauty and peace in tending to her flowers. She was also artistic and imaginative, always finding ways to express herself through her creativity.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Stephen (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Laura and Joseph; her nephews, Ralph and John; and her great-niece and great-nephew, Alyssa and John.
She will be remembered for her warmth, her artistic soul, and the love she shared with her family throughout her life.
