Dale C. Shane

Shane- Dale Clifton (DC) passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025, at the age of 97.

Born in DeWitt, Arkansa & grew up in Peoria, Illinois. Sea Cliff resident over 70 years. Beloved husband to pre deceased wife Barbara of 66 years. Devoted father of Scott (Maureen) and Jeff. Cherished grandfather of Kate (Michael), Brooke (Brendan) & Tara. Loving great-grandfather to Brayden, Quinn, Shane & Patrick.

Dale will be remembered by his love for his family, friends and community.

Services will be held at Whitting Funeral home, 300 Glen Cove Avenue, Glen Head NY, 11545 on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 1pm-3pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Stroke Association.
