Antonio B. Petruccelli

February 3, 1974 — September 11, 2025

Antonio “Anthony” Biagio Petruccelli passed away peacefully, surrounded by his beloved wife and family, on September 11, 2025, at the young age of 51.

Anthony was the devoted husband of Jacqueline, the love of his life, and the proud father of Cristina, Antonio, and Gianni. He was the cherished son of Settimio and Giovanna, and the beloved brother of Armando (Trudy) and Teresa (Franco) DiPaola. He will be deeply missed by his many nieces and nephews—Vincent, Samantha, Samuele, Giovanna, John, Kristen, Devin, Keylie, Cassidy, Cairo, Sophia, and Liam—as well as by his in-laws, Milagro and Miguel, his many godchildren, and countless family and friends.

Born and raised in Flushing, Anthony later moved his family to Greenvale, where he continued to carry forward the values of family, loyalty, and love. The youngest of his siblings, Anthony was known for his strength and protective nature, always looking out for those he loved. His connection to family extended deeply to his relatives in Italy, with whom he shared a strong and lasting bond.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Anthony’s passion for soccer, especially Italy, Juventus and NYCFC, took him across the world to attend World Cup matches in South Africa and Germany. When not following the beautiful game, he cheered for the New York Rangers, the New York Yankees, and more.

Anthony was also a collector at heart—whether it was Christmas ornaments (keeping Hallmark in business), the latest LEGO sets, or superhero memorabilia, especially Spiderman. Fittingly, through his brave and spirited battle with cancer, he became a superhero in his own right.

With a sharp wit and a warm heart, Anthony had a unique sense of humor and a welcoming spirit that drew people close. He proudly worked alongside his father in the family business, Turbo Power, eventually taking over and carrying forward the legacy his father built with dedication and pride.

Anthony’s life was defined by love—for his wife, children, family, friends, and passions—and his presence will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.

Family and Friends are invited to gather for Visiting on Sunday, September 14 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Whitting Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 15, at 10 AM at the Church of Saint Rocco.
