Anthony Nicholas Fertig

Fertig, Anthony N. December 19, 1923 - January 13, 2019.  Anthony was a 91 year resident of Sea Cliff, NY, after coming to the United States at the age of 4 from Weilbach, Bavaria, Germany.  The beloved husband of the late Shirley for 66 years.  He worked selflessly and never faltered in providing for his wife and children.  He was a loving father to Toni (Paul), Bonnie (the late Bob), Craig (fiancé Rhonda) and the late Scott. Cherished grandfather of 5, great grandfather of 7. He served in the United States Army Air Force during WWII which led to careers as an aviation mechanic at Republic Aviation, carpentry and retirement from NYRA.
