Albert J. Hartmann Jr.

May 31, 1961 — February 23, 2026

Listen to Obituary

On Monday February 23rd, we unexpectedly lost Albert J Hartmann Jr; Son of Albert and Lois, loving husband to Marianna, father to Sarah, Alyssa and Jake (the family dog, aka his 3rd child), future grandfather to Lily, brother to Carolyn, Johanna, and Margaret and an uncle to many nephews and nieces. Albert is remembered as a goofy and loving dad. He was born in Glen Cove, NY and grew up in Glen Head, NY.

His most prominent hobby was photography. You will find his photos everywhere. From film to digital photography, he loved it all. If there was action happening, he was there! He loved to garden as well. The gardens flourished with his care. Flowers as old as his own father were his prized possessions. You absolutely cannot forget about his love for cars. You may have seen him cruising by Tappen beach in his blue 1975 Porsche 914 with Jake in his passenger seat.

While he may no longer be with us physically, his strength, lessons, countless stories and love will stay with us forever. We love you always Daddy.

In lieu of flowers, we ask you kindly to consider donating to Albert’s GoFundMe to help support our family and his memorial during this incredibly difficult time. Every contribution, prayer & act of kindness means more than we could ever express.
