Mark G. Miksic

Miksic, Mark G. of Sea Cliff, NY on Nov. 14, 2017.  Beloved husband of Mary and loving father of Christopher and Matthew.  Cherished grandfather of Erin, Galen, Amber, Isabel, Madeline, Matthew, William, Sean, Liam and great grandfather of Omar Knibbs-Miksic.  Dr. Miksic, an avid tennis player and member of the Sea Glen Tennis Club, was retired from Queens College of CUNY where he taught physics and astronomy for over 40 years.  A Sea Cliff resident for 50 years, he was active in many environmental and community groups including The Sea Cliff Ecology Group, Hempstead Harbor Coalition and Friends of the Sea Cliff Library.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Further information: Whitting Funeral Home 300 Glen Cove Ave., Glen Head, NY  11545.
