Margaret Schierhorst

Margaret Taylor Schierhorst of Glennwood Landing was 91 years old at her passing on July 15, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur H. Schierhorst and sister, Betty Boucher. Margaret had 5 children, Merry-Dale, Brenda, Beth, Dan, and Jo-Anne, 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. Her passions were church involvement, art, baking, campfire girls and 4-H club volunteer leadership. She attended the Pratt Institute as a teen and studied with Adelaide Gaylor during which time she had 2 art shows that displayed her work. Her favorite locations were Tappen Beach, Gerry Park in Roslyn, Planting Fields, and her back yard.
