It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alexander Daniel Graziosi, age 30, who left us on July 31st, 2024. Alex was born on August 5, 1993 in Glen Cove, NY where he grew up.
Alex was known for his sense of humor, love for his family, musical talent, and kindness and compassion for others. Alex had a strong sense of personal values, such as optimism and dedication, which served him in many different iterations of his life.
Alex also had a prodigious talent for music. At a young age, he attended many concerts with his brothers and friends. Alex was a talented self-taught guitarist and drummer, and enjoyed performing in a band.
Of all the values and talents Alex possessed, his loved ones will remember him most for his joy. Alex had a smile that could light up a room and a laugh that was as contagious as it was unforgettable.
He is survived by his loving parents, Mario and Gail Graziosi, his brothers, Mario (Christina) and Paul (Elizabeth) Graziosi, his niece and nephews, Anna, Christian, Mario, and Julian, as well as his aunts, uncles, and cousins both in the USA and in Italy who are too numerous to list.
Services will take place on Tuesday, August 6, at Whitting Funeral Home in Glen Head with viewings at 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm.
Burial will be Wednesday, August 7 at Pinelawn Cemetery at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Shatterproof in Alex’s name. https://www.shatterproof.org/
We share with all those who knew Alex the incomprehensible grief of a life lost too soon and are grateful to all those who have expressed condolences in any manner.
