Dear Dave and Codge,
Sometimes words are so inadequate when expressing feelings of the heart.
This one of those times.
How can I ever thank you both enough for your extreme generosity and
sincerity.
Emmy was treated with the utmost respect. As were every family member and
friend. Our neighbor even commented how beautifully the Wake, Service and
Interment were handled.
I am extremely grateful for your professionalism in seeing to every detail
of the special police and the American Legion Post #76's Services.
I did not realize Emmy was going to have the Glen Cove Police escort or the
Military Honors. It is such a nice memory to know he was treated so well.
I thank you again for everything, especially your generosity.
Sincerely
RuthAnn Soffe

do, you made things easy for us.

I want to express my deepest thanks for
your service, professionalism and most important your kindness in providing
the funeral service to my brother back in January 25, 2008. No one expected
such a sudden death. I thought that no one would provide the finest and
immediate service as you did having in mind from some others that
underestimate our sense of urgency and suffering in our family. I wouldn't
doubt some discrimination from those people that referred to us as Spanish
spoken people during a phone conversation and being so pessimistic
coordinating the arrangements.
Thanks for everything you did, from having my brother ready for the
time we needed it, to transfering him to Puerto Rico and for all your
disposition and interest in our well-being. In addition and not the less
important, at a reasonable cost with the requirements to have everything set
not as others which would have resulted in a more expensive arrangement.
Just coming to your doors, not knowing us from any kind, and have
received with kindness from you, that's the best consolation anyone can
receive from an unknown person. There are not enough words to explain our
gratitude to you.
God Bless You All and thanks again for everything,
my family really appreciated.
Sincerely,
Gerardo L. Vargas

Dear David & Codge,
On behalf of the parish, I wish to express to your our belated and profound
gratitude for your extraordinary kindness in connection with Margarita
Jarovicky's funeral in May 2007.
We were truly touched by the very generous credit received from the Whitting
family for the funeral services. It was a difficult and needy case in the
parish and your magnificent response was deeply appreciated.
I also want to thank you for your incredible patience in dealing with the
confusion at the cemetery. Your immediate and professional response helped
to quickly resolve and heal a highly emotional situation. Thanks to you,
Nina is now completely at peace with the unexpected burial of her mother
within her brother's plot.
Our Lady of Kazan Church gratefully acknowledges your exceptional service to
the community.
Thank You!
Sincerely yours,
(The Rev.) Leonid Kishkovsky
To the Whitting Family,
Words can't begin to express my gratitude at the kindness and generosity you
extended to me during this very difficult time. I did not known how I was
going to manage, what I was going to do. This is a testament to the
reputation and respect the Whitting family already has.
With much appreciation,
very sincerely yours,
Linda Glovach

Dear Codge and David,
I want to thank you both personally for your contribution for our
International Supper being held on Saturday the 28th.
I gave the tickets to a woman who had open heart surgery,
a woman on welfare, a 95 year old woman and a man on welfare. They were all
senior citizens from 72 to 95. It was
a joy to see the smiles on their faces that day. You Whitting gentlemen
should be congratulated for such a giving spirit.
I won't bother you again, but keep your hand in God's hand and remember only
what you do for Christ will last. Quoting my favorite scripture Matthew
Chapter 5 16th verse:
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works
and glorify your father in heaven".
Faith will be your nourishment. Again I say thank you and god bless you and
your family.

Dear Dave and Codge,
Tony and I would like to thank you for the very professional care and
consideration that was given to our family during the recent funeral of
Tony's mother.
From the moment contact was made with you, we felt assured that every detail
would be taken care of, and we were not disappointed. Your professionalism
made a very difficult time for us more bearable.
Thank you again for all of your many acts of kindness.
Sincerely,
Pat and Tony Cano
Dear Codge and David,
I just wanted to send you a letter to thank you for a beautiful funeral for
my Dad, Alphonse Milano, in January 2005.
In a
time of great sadness, you helped me plan an event that no one ever wants to
plan. You made it easy for me, almost “brainless”. Your expertise,
professionalism, and caring approach were very apparent. My Dad was a very
proud and decorated Korean War Veteran and your extra effort that went into
acknowledging this at his funeral was greatly appreciated by me and my
family.
I know
my Dad was smiling down from Heaven looking
at his grand send off.
Sincerely,
Mary Carter
Dear
David and Codge,
I want to say how much my family and I appreciate all that you did for us.
You made “Everything” so easy for us. Usually a funeral is so difficult and
sad, but because of the way you treated us it’s a Good Memory. Don’t ever
feel that what you do doesn’t matter. It truly means the world to all the
families you come in contact with.
Sincerely Yours,
Peggie Corbett
Hey
Dave,
I
really wanted to thank you and your staff for all that you did. Your
attentiveness, honesty and sense of humor (not to mention the offer of a
cold beer) made everything a bit easier to deal with. If there is anything I
can ever do for you regarding references or anything, please don’t hesitate
to ask. I hope that both your wife and new baby (is he / she here yet?) are
doing well and that you all have a wonderful life together.
Sincerely,
Lisa J. Soszka
Dear

of the funeral and I am personally very happy I chose you

Dear
Dave,
I wanted to take a moment to thank you for all that you have done for my
family. I cannot express the amount of gratitude I have for your kindness
last week. It was the most difficult situation I have yet experienced and
you were a tremendous comfort. You made it very easy for both my father and
me. It seemed as if you always knew when to ask “Are you doing alright?”
You are a very kind and gentle soul and for that I will always be grateful.
I know that my Mom would have been very appreciative of your kindness as
well. She was very much like that herself.
I wish
you much happiness and good health in this New Year. If there is anything I
can ever do for you or your family, please do not ever hesitate to call.
Thank
you again, for everything
With much appreciation and respect,
Mell Leis
Dear
Dave, Codge, Joe, and staff
We can't thank you enough for all you did for us. Aside from your total
professionalism, you provided a genuine sense of caring, compassion, and
importantly, humor that guided us through a painfully difficult time. We
will never forget you.
Sincerely, Joan & Chuck
